Welcome to the
Infinite Beauty
online exhibition
Exhibited at
Linton & Kay Subiaco
8-23 October 2022
Infinite Beauty is an exploration of perspective and a celebration of our very unique, yet shared, human experience, with its labyrinth of beauty in both darkness and in light.
One’s destination
is never a place,
but a new way
of seeing things.
– Henry Miller
Gritty photographs of ordinary objects, transformed into art, explore the profound effect that perspective can have on every aspect of our lives and the freedoms it affords when we choose to question and interpret what we encounter for ourselves instead of accepting previously acquired labels as ‘truths’.
Is it a rubbish bin or is it art? Is it a catastrophe or an opportunity? A ‘failure’ or a process of growth? Conversely, is it truly beautiful or is it an illusion with ulterior motives? And whose definition of ‘beauty’, of anything, are we following?
A tangible illustration of one ‘thing’ being perceived as something else, Infinite Beauty is an invitation to suspend judgements, labels, stereotypes, prejudices and conditioning, and open up to possibility … and your very own unique assessments.
Among other underlying themes permeating the work – including the impermanence and interconnectedness of all that is, and the psychology that drives us – Infinite Beauty celebrates the paradox of our exquisite diversity and our fundamental sameness as human beings, with our universally shared core needs yet truly unique perspectives.
Each piece is both ordinary as well as art; neglected and revered; hidden yet always there and ever-changing – experienced in as many ways as there are observers.
Like the abstract art that lives in rubbish, Infinite Beauty is a metaphor for life – in that everything we search for outside of ourselves already exists within us.
Much like the beauty we so often overlook around us, our true selves – our real beauty – sits behind the stories and personas of the mind, already whole and perfect in our imperfections; always present; patiently waiting for us to turn our gaze towards it.

taking the time
to view my art
The exhibition asks us to acknowledge this intrinsic beauty that lies unwaveringly at the core of each and every one of us, even in adversity; ultimately, the essence that unites every human being, regardless of any external difference, preference or behaviour.
A culmination of skills and experiences gathered along my journey so far – including graphic design, photography, interior styling, joyful adventures, significant adversity and more – Infinite Beauty weaves together my narrative in a vibrant, larger-than-life sensory celebration of the infinite beauty that is alive every single second of every single day and our innate power to decide for ourselves what we deem to be beautiful, and true, for us.
